Lamplight Business Solutions’ office is located in Benton Harbor, Michigan and offers bookkeeping, customer and vendor relations, payroll and human resource services to small and mid-size organizations IN Berrien, Cass and VanBuren County.
Owner and President Lillian Pliley brings a wealth of experience to her new venture. Pliley has worked for Fortune 100 corporations and has a solid background in all aspects of business from simple billing to complex regulatory relations. “Opening this business is the culmination of my career experience and the desire to help business start-ups and entrepreneurs,”stated Pliley. “When I worked in the small business world, I really understood what the many issues that small business owners face; cash management, customer and vendor agreements. It can be daunting. When you have all facets in place, these small businesses can be economically sound.”
The past ten years of Pliley’s career has been working within the agriculture industry and meeting the needs of this diverse industry has been not only challenging but rewarding. “Working directly with farmers has given me a great respect for this industry,” said Pliley. “Not only do they need to know which crops will yield the most return on investment; they are responsible for maintaining, organizing and reporting a myriad of information to the various regulatory agencies. Ensuring compliance is critical for these farms to succeed.”
